Safety Rules and Procedures

  • Maximum operational load: 1 person, 300lbs (136 kg).
  • Persons under 42 inches (1.07m) tall are not permitted on this ride.
  • Eyeglasses must be securely affixed to riders with head straps. No loose articles permitted.
  • Swim wear with exposed zippers, buckles, rivets or metal ornaments are not permitted. Riders must be bare foot.
  • Only one rider to enter the slide at a time. Single riders only!
  • Never form chains.
  • Slide must be ridden feet first lying on your back with legs firmly crossed at ankles and arms folded across the chest (to prevent elbows contacting the slide).
  • Riders must wait for the attendant's start signal before starting the ride.
  • Do not uncross your legs or attempt to sit up until you come to a complete stop in the shutdown lane.
  • Do not run, dive, stand, kneel, rotate, or stop in the slide.
  • At the end of the slide, exit quickly and obey all instructions by attendant.
  • CAUTION: For safety reasons, pregnant women and persons with heart conditions or back trouble should not ride this slide.

Section 1711.551 of Revised Ohio State Code requires that riders must obey all warning and directions regarding attractions and behave in a manner that will not cause or contribute to injury to themselves or others.
