School is Out!
Preliminary Rounds:
March 22 - April 9 (Monday - Friday)
Finals:
May 8
All finalists will receive complimentary accommodations for the night of finals (Additional friends and family can get a discounted rate of $129).
Winner of Kalahari Idol competition will win a 3 night stay and FREE Kalahari Indoor Theme Park passes for your family on one full day.
Rules:
Singers will be divided into two age groups: 17 and under, 18 and older (Adults are welcome and encouraged to sign up and compete).
Contestants must sign up at the concierge desk in the hotel lobby before 2:00 PM to be in that night's show.
Each contestant must put their full name, parent's name if under age of 18, age, address, phone number, the song title, and artist's name.
A second meeting will be held in the Elephant room located next to Camp Kalahari in the Indoor Theme Park at 4:00 PM.
There we will make sure the song selected is available and set up, choose 5 people from each age group to sing that night, and fill our ballots.
The show starts at 7:00 PM up in the bowling alley lounge. We ask the contestants to show up 15 minutes early so we know they will be competing.
One winner from each group everyday will be voted by our three judges to return to compete in the finale.
