That's right, each person registered as a Kalahari hotel guest between May 27, 2011 and September 4, 2011 will receive COMPLIMENTARY admission to the amazing Tommy Bartlett Show in Wisconsin Dells!
It's big time air and big time fun, when the famous Tommy Bartlett Water-skiers take center stage for their summertime extravaganza on Lake Delton. Featuring some of the best athletes in the sport today, the Show highlights a signature mix of fast-paced trick skiing, barefooting, jumps, flips and high-powered boat maneuvers. On shore, world-class thrill performers keep the adrenaline pumping with breath-taking feats and a mix of light-hearted humor.
It's what summers are made of – action, adventure, music and memories on the lake!
We are "Livin' the Dream" on Lake Delton in 2011, your front-row seat to the Tommy Bartlett Ski Show. Join in the fun as we look back on the tricks of yesteryear and how the sport has pushed the limits with bigger and better waterskiing stunts of today. Our top-notch skiers show off spectacular distance jumping and breath-taking multiple-skier stunts off the jumps. Power boats bring them in at high speed as they launch off the ramp, flipping and crisscrossing across the water. See the awesome maneuvers of high-energy water sports including the popular wakeboarding and fast-paced jet-ski action. Along with the signature three-high human pyramid, the show unveils the unique side of the sport, showing off the hydrofoil ski and those with no skis at all – barefooting, backwards at 35-40 miles per hour!
You've gotta love that clown! Aqua T. Clown, that is. Always good for a laugh, Aqua never fails to deliver. He's far from being the best hot-shot skier on the lake, but still always manages to win our hearts with his hare-brained tricks. A legend in his own mind, Aqua amuses the kids with his usual follies and somehow manages to make us all smile as he tries to steal the spotlight.
All eyes turn to the sky when one of Tommy Bartlett's ultimate daredevils takes flight each night. Our man-carrying kite is catapulted by boat from the Tommy Bartlett stage up into the air, soaring to a height of 700 feet above the water. Audiences eagerly watch as our gutsy performer disconnects from the towline and elegantly maneuvers the lighted glider through the night sky. Gasps of amazement ripple through the crowd as he glides back down to the very spot from where he launched. It's a true spectacle of skill, precision and courage.
(8:30 p.m. shows only – weather permitting)
With skill and power this family acrobatic troupe literally "kicks it up a notch!" The Fausto Scorpions take to the Bartlett stage this summer with their "risely" foot-juggling routine. Using only the power of their feet and legs, the Faustos balance, spin and propel each other into the air to perform flips and twists with precision and grace. They deliver the "wows" and the laughs, entertaining audiences with a little bit of feisty fun along the way.
"Net. We don’t need no stinkin' net."
True to form, the Nerveless Nocks defy danger as they bring their nail-biting aerial performances to the Tommy Bartlett stage. You can’t be afraid of heights if you're part of this world-famous thrill show family performing dare-devil stunts high off the ground with no net below. The Nerveless Nocks include Michelangelo and Carolina Nock along with their daughter Angelina, a ninth generation circus performer.
You'll be on the edge of your seat until the Nocks are safe back on the ground.
With great hand-eye-coordination, a good dose of lighthearted humor, world-class juggler T.J. Howell brings laughter and excitement to the Bartlett stage. T.J. tosses a bit of everything into the juggling mix. You name it - T.J. can probably juggle it! Tossing around everything from bowling balls to machetes and throwing in some fire to ignite the excitement, T.J. is certainly in a league all his own. Not to be upstaged, T.J.'s two sons – Hunter and Carson – join the act to show off their latest unicycle riding feats and win audiences over with their show-stealing charm and humorous antics.
A loveable, classic performer, Dieter Tasso returns to the Bartlett stage for another summer run with his unique brand of comedic juggling. Dieter mixes his witty sense of humor, with his distinct juggling style as he tosses around and balances everything from top hats to teacups, on his head, feet and nose. Dieter is an audience favorite whose performances appeal to the generations. He's traveled the world and has appeared on the Tommy Bartlett stage for more than 30 years.
You will be laughing along, amazed at his tricks while he eggs you on with his signature line, "You Like It, I Do It Again!"
(8:30 p.m. shows only)
