How can I make a reservation?
Is a deposit required at the time of a reservation?
Yes, Kalahari is an advance deposit Resort requiring the first night's lodging plus applicable taxes and resort fee
to be charged at the time of reservation.
What is the cancellation policy?
Reservations canceled 72 hours or more prior to the date of arrival receive a refund of the deposit, minus a $25 cancellation fee.
Reservations canceled within 72 hours of the date of arrival forfeit the entire deposit.
Dates of stay may be rescheduled at any time without fee, though rates may fluctuate. After rescheduling a reservation to a new date, any future cancellation of that reservation will be charged a cancellation fee equal to the original first night deposit. This fee applies regardless of how many days from arrival that cancellation takes place. Rescheduled reservations are subject to current rates, availability and restrictions.
Can extra guests be added at check in?
Yes, up to the maximum number of Guests allowed in compliance with your selected room style.
Can a reservation be made for someone other than the credit card holder? (Letter of Authorization)
Yes. In order for a guest to check-in other than the person whose credit card was used to make the reservation, the following steps are required:
- Click here to open and print the Credit Card Authorization Form.
- Complete the form in its entirety, including the signature of the credit card holder.
- Obtain photocopies of the front and back of the credit card used to make the reservation as well as the credit card holder's photo ID. Please note that the back of the credit card must have the card holder's signature.
- Fax the completed Letter of Authorization form, photocopies of the front and back of the credit card and card holder's ID to: (608) 254-6116 and address to the attention of Reservation Coordinator.
Is Waterpark admission included with overnight stays?
Yes, admission to Kalahari's indoor and seasonal outdoor water area is included for each registered hotel guest!
Are pack 'n plays and/or rollaway beds available for rental?
Yes, pack and plays are available and complimentary for guests. Rollaway beds are available on a limited basis for $15 per night based on room style as not all room styles will accommodate the space required.
Yes, we have scooters, wheelchairs and strollers available at the concierge desk on a first come, first served basis for a daily fee. These items can be picked up at check-in and must be returned at check-out.
- Scooters - $35 per day
- Wheelchairs - $15 per day
- Strollers - $8 per day
Can I request to have rooms located next to each other?
If you are making the reservation for both rooms you may request for the rooms to be located next to each other, however this cannot be guaranteed until check in.
If you are requesting to have your room located next to that of one reserved by someone else, we require both parties to make this request independently. This can be done via email
or by each calling Reservations at 877-525-2427 (please be sure to have your confirmation number available). Once both parties have confirmed, the requests will be added to the reservations, but cannot be guaranteed until check in.
What is the Resort Fee?
The Resort Fee is a mandatory daily fee of $19.99 to cover the costs associated with providing the highest level of amenities for our guests. To view what is included in the fee please view our Resort Fee
What are the check in and check out times?
Check in time begins at 4:00pm. Should you arrive as early as 12:00pm, you can pre-register and begin to enjoy the Waterparks.
Check out is no later than 11:00am. After you have checked out, if you have the time, we invite you to stay with us until Waterpark closing time to enjoy the Waterparks and the many other great Kalahari amenities and services available.
Are pets allowed?
Unfortunately, except in those cases of companion animals trained to assist individuals with disabilities, pets are not allowed at the Resorts.
Are hoverboards, skateboards, or similar items allowed?
In the interest of the safety of our guests, the use of hoverboards, skateboards, and similar items is not allowed anywhere on Resort property.
Are unmanned aerial vehicles or "drones" allowed?
In the interest of the safety of our guests, the use of unmanned aerial vehicles or "drones" is not allowed anywhere on Resort property.
What are the typical room amenities I can expect when staying at your resort?
All rooms include a microwave, coffee maker, refrigerator, iron, ironing board, in-room safe, complimentary Wi-Fi, remote control television with cable, alarm clock, voice mail system, hair dryer, Spa Kalahari bath amenities and admission to the waterparks.

Is there a Spa and/or Salon?

Are Pay-Per-View movies available in Guest Rooms?
No, Pay-Per-View programming is not available.
Can DVD/Blu-ray players or videogame consoles be connected to the televisions in the guest rooms and suites?
An HDMI port is available.
Are there additional outdoor recreational activities nearby?
Yes. Nearby there is horseback riding, archery, fishing, sledding, snow shoeing, skiing plus a whole lot more!
Is internet access available?
Yes, free high-speed wireless access is available throughout the resort.
How can I secure my valuables while staying at the resort?
A safe is provided in each guest room for securing valuables. Lockers are also available for use at the Waterpark. Please note that Kalahari is not responsible for lost or stolen items while staying at the resort. Please make sure that upon vacating your guest room, you have thoroughly checked for any misplaced items.
Are allergy or allergic menu options are available in Kalahari's restaurants?
A variety of allergy-free dining options are available. Please consult your server for details.
Are laundry facilities available?
Yes, laundry facilities are available and conveniently located for our Resort guests.
Is smoking permitted within the resort or guest rooms?
Smoking is only permitted in designated outside locations, and is not allowed on guest room balconies.
What is "Clean The World"?
Kalahari has partnered with Clean The World
to recycle soap and shampoo products for distribution to impoverished people, helping to prevent the millions of deaths caused by hygiene-related illnesses every day.

There is complimentary Wi-Fi throughout resort, internet bandwidth speeds up to 100 Mb/s with capacity to increase to 1 Gb/s (with advance order), state of the art lighting and A/V controls, numerous built in hi-lumen/Hi-Def projectors and monitors and a proprietary HELP phone.

Although many children possess excellent swimming capabilities in standard pools, Kalahari Resorts requires all children under 48" to wear a life vest for added safety while enjoying our Waterparks. You are encouraged to bring your own life vest if it is well fitting and U.S. Coast Guard approved. Complimentary life vests will be available in the Waterpark on a first come first served basis.
What are the Indoor Waterpark and Outdoor Pool rules?
Waterpark Safety Rules and Procedures

In our Indoor Waterpark and Outdoor Pool, Kalahari is proud to meet, and in many cases, exceed state and federal guidelines for Waterpark safety. Although many children possess excellent swimming capabilities in standard pools, Kalahari Resorts requires all children under 48" to wear a life vest for added safety while enjoying our Waterparks. You are encouraged to bring your own life vest if it is well fitting and U.S. Coast Guard approved. Complimentary life vests are available in the Waterpark on a first come first served basis.
- Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
- State law prohibits any food or beverage to be brought in from outside the Waterpark.
- All riders must comply with the Pennsylvania Amusement Rider Safety and Liability Act, P.S. § 501-507 including heeding all posted and oral rules and to refrain from acting in a manner which may knowingly cause or contribute to the injury of themself or others or in a manner contrary to prohibited acts for riders set forth in the act.

Are outside coolers, food or drink permitted into the Waterparks?
Unfortunately, outside coolers, food or drink are not permitted into the Waterparks. However, there are many dining options both outside and inside the Indoor Waterpark for your enjoyment. For more information please visit Where to Eat
Are Waterpark towels available?
Yes, towels are provided for Waterpark guests.
Are changing rooms and showers available for the waterpark?
Yes, men's and women's showers and changing facilities, as well as family changing facilities are available.
What are the hours of the Indoor Waterpark?
The Indoor Waterpark is open weekdays from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Memorial Day through Labor Day and 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. on weekends throughout the rest of the year (opening at 10:00 a.m. for day pass guests). However, on August 23rd the waterpark will be opening at 10am instead of 9am for resort guests.
Hours subject to change. Some holidays, peak periods and weekends may feature amended hours of operation.
When are swim diapers required and are they available for purchase?
All diaper dependent guests are required to wear a swim diaper or a vinyl cover with elastic leg openings. Swim diapers are available in the retail outlets.
Are there water activities for toddlers and smaller children?
Yes, Kalahari Waterparks features many activities for smaller children including slides, geysers, interactive elements and more.
