Safari Outdoor Adventure Park

  • A parent or legal guardian must sign a waiver for participants less than 18 years of age.
  • Section 1711.551 of Revised Ohio State Code requires that riders must obey all warnings and directions regarding attractions and behave in a manner that will not cause or contribute to injury to themselves or others.
  • Participants are required to have closed toed shoes, full length t-shirt, shorts that are just above the knee (Harness cannot rest on skin), glasses must be fixed to an eye glass strap.
  • For your safety, select rides have a 'weigh-in' before you get the play in! This means a quick weight check is required before sliding to ensure that everyone enjoys their time at the park!
  • Guests must be a minimum of 44" tall.
  • Guests must safely fit in the harness.
  • Belay rope should stay in between shoulders at all times.
  • Climbers must not climb up the belay rope or use it as an aid.
  • Must not climb above the top belay anchor.
  • Climb straight to top, no zig-zagging.
  • Do not cross belay ropes.
  • Shoes must be closed-toed and secure.
  • Pockets must be empty.
  • No loose objects such as cell phones or cameras.
  • No smoking in line or on the attraction.
  • Food and drinks are not permitted on this attraction.
  • Kalahari Resort is not responsible for articles that are lost, damaged or unattended.
  • Pregnant women, guests with heart conditions, respiratory problems, significant physical ailment or condition, high blood pressure or nervous disorder, neck or back problems, epilepsy, prone to seizures or asthma, and guests under the influence of alcohol or drugs should not ride attraction.
  • A shirt is required that completely covers the shoulder and underarm.
  • Shorts are required which are long enough that the harnesses do not touch the skin.
  • Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
  • Closed during high wind conditions.
  • Guests must be a minimum of 48" tall or 44" tall with a paid adult on the course with them.
  • Guests must safely fit in the harness.
  • Sling should stay in between shoulders at all times.
  • Sling line must be on the trailing side of your neck and head when moving sideways.
  • Do not touch the overhead tracking system.
  • Maximum weight is 300 lbs.
  • Shoes must be closed-toed and secure.
  • Pockets must be empty.
  • No loose objects such as cell phones or cameras.
  • No smoking in line or on the attractions.
  • Food and drinks are not permitted on this attraction.
  • Only one climber on an activity at a time except if a child is being assisted by an adult.
  • No Running or Horseplay.
  • Kalahari Resort is not responsible for articles that are lost, damaged or unattended.
  • Pregnant women, guests with heart conditions, respiratory problems, significant physical ailment or condition, high blood pressure or nervous disorder, guests with neck or back problems and guests under the influence of alcohol or drugs should not ride attraction.

Guests must be at least 48" to participate. 

DO NOT ZIP IF YOU:

  • Have significant a physical ailment or condition or joint injuries.
  • Have had a back or neck problem. 
  • Have had high blood pressure or nervous disorder. 
  • Are an expectant mother. 
  • Are under the influence of drugs or alcohol.


ALSO:

  • Guests must safely fit in the harness. 
  • Zip Tether should stay in between shoulders at all times. 
  • Do not touch the overhead Zip Line Cable. 
  • Guests must weigh between 75lbs-275lbs. (The weight limit may vary due to high winds)
  • Shoes must be closed-toed and secure. 
  • Pockets must be empty. 
  • No loose objects such as cell phones or cameras. 
  • No smoking in line or on the attraction. 
  • Food and drinks are not permitted on this attraction. 
  • No Running or Horseplay. 
  • Guests must wait for Operator approval before leaving platforms. 
  • The park is not responsible for articles that are lost, damaged, or unattended.
  • Closed during high wind conditions.
  • The minimum weight for this attraction is 50 lbs.
  • The maximum weight limit for this attraction is 275 lbs. (This limit may vary based on high winds.)

  • Food and drinks are not permitted on the attraction including gum or candy.
  • No spitting.
  • Belay rope should stay between shoulders at all times.
  • Participants must not climb up the belay ropes or use it as an aid.
  • Participants must not climb above the top climbing handles.
  • Do not cross belay ropes.
  • Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged articles left unattended.
  • Pregnant women, guests with heart conditions, respiratory problems, significant back problems, epilepsy, prone to seizures or asthma, and guests under the influence of alcohol or drugs should not participate.
  • Failure to comply with any of these rules or directions will result in loss of participation privileges.
